DESCRIPTION
Sika® Antisol® WB is a ready to use, solvent free, water based liquid curing compound for preventing the
evaporation of mixing water in concrete. It is ready for
use and simple to apply.
Suitable for use in hot and tropical climatic conditions.

USES
Sika® Antisol® WB can be applied on site and in precast plants. It has been specially developed for use as a high quality curing and sealing compound for interior or exterior applications. Sika® Antisol® WB is suitable for all kinds of concrete, horizontal and vertical applications and large areas of exposed concrete, such as:
▪ Highways
▪ Runways and taxiways
▪ Aprons and hard standings
▪ Roof decks
▪ Pre-stressed beams and piers
▪ Irrigation canals / channels

CHARACTERISTICS / ADVANTAGES
Sika® Antisol® WB has the following characteristics:
▪ Reduces incidence of plastic cracking Forms stable film on the surface to provide excellent curing and sealing properties
▪ Ensure achievement of desired strengths, minimize shrinkage
▪ Alleviates other costly methods such as Hessian – watering
▪ Reduces dusting. Seals, primes and hardnens cement based compositions
▪ Increases frost resistance
▪ Cured film acts as primer between concrete surface and coating material
▪ Non-flammable, non-toxic and non-staining
▪ Considerable reduction in loss of water from concrete

Sika® Antisol® WB follows the requirements of ASTM C
309; Type 1; Class A

Consumption The rate of coverage depends on wind, humidity and temperature.
As a general guide: 0.2 – 0.5 kg/m²
