What waterproofing products do you sell?

The correct tile adhesive depends on several factors, including:
- Tile type
- Tile dimensions
- Porosity
- Substrate
- Indoor or outdoor use
- Wall or floor application
- Wet-area exposure
- Movement and vibration
- Swimming-pool or submerged conditions
A basic ceramic tile in a small indoor area may not require the same adhesive performance as a large-format porcelain tile, external façade or swimming pool. We supply different tile-adhesive classifications and can help you choose a suitable system for your application.

DPC — Damp Proof Course is generally used within walls to help prevent moisture from rising through masonry.
DPM — Damp Proof Membrane is generally installed over or beneath floors and slabs to restrict ground moisture from entering the building.
They perform related functions but are installed in different locations. Correctly installing both during construction is considerably easier and less disruptive than attempting to treat serious rising damp or ground-moisture problems after the building has been completed.

Do I still need waterproofing underneath bathroom or swimming-pool tiles?

Yes. Tiles and grout should not automatically be treated as the waterproofing system. Wet areas such as bathrooms, showers, balconies and swimming pools should have an appropriate waterproofing system beneath the tiled finish where required by the design and application conditions.
The waterproofing protects the underlying structure while the tiles provide the finished surface. Correct surface preparation, joint treatment, waterproofing, tile adhesive and grout should therefore be considered as parts of one complete system.

There is no single waterproofing product that is best for every leaking roof. The appropriate solution depends on factors such as:
- Roof construction
- Existing waterproofing
- Cracks and joints
- Drainage and slope
- Parapet details
- Flashings
- Penetrations
- Water ponding
- Whether the roof will remain exposed
- Whether tiles, screed or another finish will be installed
